Patch Tastemaker: Cocktail Blogger Jason Pirock

Where can you get the best Bloody Mary in Chicago? Just ask this Bloody Mary expert and Irving Park resident for his top pick.

When it comes to Chicago's Bloody Mary scene, Jason Pirock has sipped his fair share of the city's hearty, bold-flavored cocktails. He shares his passion on his popular blog and Instagram account Eat, Drink, And Bloody Mary, which includes everything from in-depth cocktail reviews to his very own spicy recipes.

Originally from Ohio, Pirock moved to Chicago five years ago and instantly fell in love with the city's intricate architecture and diverse neighborhoods. But there's one aspect that surpasses the rest: the Bloody Mary scene, of course!

Aside from sipping his favorite beverage, Pirock also enjoys indulging in the occasional carrot cake from Gilt Bar and taking in the city views from the Hancock Tower. From wine bars to cultural events, check out the rest of his favorite spots in the Windy City:
