Sincere Williams was charged with murder in the stabbing death of 32-year old Olga Calderon while she worked at Walgreens in Wicker Park.

CHICAGO — An 18-year-old man was charged with murder in the stabbing death of 32-year-old Olga Calderon while she was working at Walgreens in Wicker Park, police said Tuesday.
Detectives said Sincere Williams had a knife and plans to rob the Walgreens in the 1300 block of North Milwaukee around 9:30 a.m. Sunday. That's when Williams grabbed Calderon around the neck as she was stocking shelves, police said.
"It appears that she tried to push away from Williams, and he began stabbing her multiple times, causing her death," police detective Eric Winstrom said at a Tuesday news conference.

Williams fled the store without stealing merchandise and ditched a knife and clothes, police said. Detectives used video surveillance to track Williams to an apartment building in the 1400 block of North Sedgwick Street, where he was arrested Sunday night, authorities said.
Williams also is suspected of being involved in two robberies on Sept. 2, one at the same Walgreens and the other at a Walgreens in the 2400 block of North Avenue, police said.

"This is an unbelievably tragic incident to ... be at a Walgreens working for your family and then have somebody, an offender, come in and commit a heinous act like this and stabbing the victim to death,” police detectives chief Brendan Deenihan. “So please keep the Calderon family in everybody’s thoughts and prayers."
Williams is expected to appear at a bond hearing on first-degree murder charges on Wednesday.
