ILLINOIS —Mild temperatures and chances of rain are possible as highs in the 60s are in the forecast for most of the week for the Chicago area. According to the National Weather Service, rain and even a few thunderstorms will be possible Tuesday and another system arrives Thursday with more rain.
Monday is likely to be the warmest day of the week, as it has a high of 65 degrees, according to the weather service forecast. Rain and storm chances will move in the area Monday night into Tuesday, which has a high of 62.

Wednesday will be dry and breezy with a high of 62, according to the weather service forecast. Temperatures will be cooler on Thursday and Friday, with highs of 57 and 52, respectively. A chance of rain is possible both Thursday and Friday, with a possibility of a rain/snow mix on Thursday night.
