Rare Aberlour Scotch Cask Only in Chicago
The 16-year-old bourbon-barrel finished edition is only available in U.S. at four bars and retail locations in Chicago.

A single cask of Aberlour 16-Year American Oak scotch is only available stateside in Chicago for curious booze seekers.
The big difference in this scotch compared to others is instead of finishing the aging process in a sherry barrel, distillers from the 139-year-old whisky distillery in Speyside, Scotland, chose to mature this batch in a second-fill American oak bourbon barrel.
“This was a particularly exciting spirit to introduce as it delivers the fruity and floral notes similar to Aberlour’s core range but is complemented by hints of vanilla, honey and caramel, which can only be attributed to the bourbon barrel maturation,” said master distiller Graeme Cruickshank in a release.
