Rare Wine-Paired Dinner at Morton's for 40th Anniversary

Six-course steak and lobster dinner will be paired with Mondavi wines

All Morton’s The Steakhouse locations will be hosting a rare wine-paired dinner Saturday to celebrate 40 years in business.

In honor of its 40th anniversary, Morton’s The Steakhouse is hosting A Taste of Two Legends, a celebration alongside Napa Valley’s revered wine making family, the Mondavis. On Saturday, October 27, patrons and wine aficionados can enjoy a six-course menu paired with rare, world-class wines from four Mondavi generations, including exclusive library wines and new family projects not available to the public anywhere else.

Tylor Field, III, Divisional VP of Wine and Spirits for Morton’s The Steakhouse, and the Mondavi Family will lead a discussion about the rare wines at the State Street Chicago location.A Taste of Two Legends will feature an 18 liter bottle of Cabernet Based Wine blended by third and fourth generations of the Mondavi family, including Tim Mondavi, Peter Mondavi Jr., Marc Mondavi, Rob Mondavi, Jr. and Angelina Mondavi. The family named this wine Ancora Insieme, which means "Still Together." Ancora Insieme is a blend that encompasses both the original and modern winemaking philosophy of Napa Valley. It is described as structured, balanced, and full-bodied with a mouthfeel that is supple and elegant.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Napa Valley will auction off this one-of-a-kind bottle on the evening of the 27th with all proceeds going to their organizations. All guests attending A Taste of Two Legends nationwide will have the ability to bid on this exclusive item.Menu:
