Security Line at Midway Airport is How Long? Video

Abandon hope all ye who seek to enter here. A frustrated traveler at Chicago's Midway Airport recorded his journey from the TSA security checkpoint to the end of the line. The end of the very long line. A line which snaked its way out of the security holding area and back, back, back ... way back.

The security lines Friday morning, May 13, weren't looking good, either. The stress induced by the numbingly long security checkpoint wait is enough to make you seek out the airport's yoga room for some relaxation. It's on concourse C.

Nationwide, there are about 5,800 fewer TSA security screeners at U.S. airports due to cutbacks in budget and staffing, according to the TSA. Long lines are expected to be the norm for the rest of 2016.
