Single-Shot COVID-19 Vaccine Available At United Center Next Week

CHICAGO — Starting next week, the United Center mass vaccination site will begin offering the Johnson & Johnson vaccine for walk-in appointments.
Chicago public health officials have reported high demand for the single-shot vaccination. Starting today, Chicago residents can schedule appointments for the Johnson & Johnson vaccine on Zocdoc.
The United Center drive-thru will continue to administer second doses of Pfizer for folks who have already received their first dose.

Starting Monday, all Chicagoans age 16 or older will be eligible for coronavirus vaccinations. However, you must be at least 18 years old to receive shots at city run sites, including the United Center. City vaccination sites are not allowed to inoculate minors.
