Temps In The 60s, Sunny Weekend Expected For Illinois

Rain isn't expected until Tuesday or Wednesday, according to the weather service.

ILLINOIS — After several days with chillier temperatures, a warming trend is expected this weekend into next week. Highs in the 60s will be possible this weekend as it looks to be dry and sunny, according to the National Weather Service.

Saturday looks to have a high of 57, while Sunday has a high of 64. The next chance of rain will arrive on Tuesday or Wednesday, according to the weather service forecast.

Sunday could have gusts as high as 25 mph, and the weather service said there is an increased fire danger that day.

Warmer temperatures will also continue on Monday and Tuesday, with a high of 65 on Monday and a high of 63 on Tuesday, according to the weather service.
