Thanksgiving 2017: Grocery Store Hours In North Center

CHICAGO, IL — It's inevitable that many Chicagoans will have to race to the store on Thanksgiving for last-minute purchases, or for those who are less organized, all their groceries. Fortunately, many stores will be open in Chicago Thursday, but watch out–some stores close early. The day after, most return to normal operating hours.

To help you know your go-to stores over the upcoming holiday, we have open and closed hours for stores, plus links to their websites. Here's a list of Thanksgiving hours for local grocery chains.

The Jewel-Osco store hours in and near North Center and Roscoe Village are as follows on Thanksgiving:

• Lincoln and Berteau: Open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Southport and Addison: Open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Western and Roscoe: Open 12:01 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Sheridan and Montrose: Open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

And here are the Thanksgiving hours for Whole Foods stores:

• 3201 N. Ashland Ave.: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• 3640 N. Halsted St.: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Here's a look at grocery stores that have the same hours in every location:

• Mariano's: 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thanksgiving.
• Meijer: Open 24 hours, special Thanksgiving and Black Friday deals start at 6 a.m. each day.
• Trader Joe's: All stores closed on Thanksgiving.
• Costco: All stores will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.
• Sam's Club: All stores are closed on Thanksgiving Day.
• Walmart: Stores will be open as usual on Thanksgiving Day and will unveil Black Friday deals at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 23.
• Target: Stores open at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving and close at midnight; stores re-open at 6 a.m. on Black Friday.
