Thousands Turn Out for Saturday Spring Egg Hunt at NEWCITY

NEWCITY celebrated the holiday weekend by inviting families to "follow the yellow brick road" to a make-shift Emerald City for the Wizard of Oz Spring Egg Hunt. Over 2000 kids and parents were in attendance to meet Oz characters Dorothy, Tin Man, Scarecrow and Cowardly Lion while participating in activities such as face painting, balloon twisting, and a fun photo booth. Complimentary light bites were served along with soft drinks and cocktails.

The most popular part of the day was the egg hunt which took place every 30 minutes in the specially created poppy field where approximately 10,0000 eggs were hidden! Prizes were awards to both kids and parents and consisted of gift certificates, gift cards and prizes from NEWCITY stores and restaurants.
