Uber Driver Shot as He Drove Past Gang Members Trying to Kill Each Other
The driver was shot in the leg as two gunmen shot another man in the back on a Northwest Side street Saturday.

CHICAGO, IL — An Uber driver motoring along, minding his own business and trying to make a buck was shot in the leg as a bullet fired in a gangland shooting Saturday morning on Chicago's Northwest Side went astray.
The 37-year-old Uber driver was shot in the left thigh at about 3:15 a.m. in the 200 block of North Latrobe as two men walked up to another man and on the street and opened fire, a police source told the Chicago Sun-Times. He was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center and is reported to be in stable condition.
The target of the gang shooting, a 24-year-old man, was shot in the back. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital but didn't die. He's reportedly in stable condition.
