WalletHub Ranks the Best Community Colleges in Illinois

With students returning to school, WalletHub took a look at 821 community colleges across the country to determine which are among the best.

The personal finance website based its rankings off the following criteria: cost and financing, education outcomes and career outcomes.

Within these three categories were a total of 12 subcategories, such as grant availability, student-faculty ratio, and student-loan default rate (more information on the methodology and how each category weighed in the final ranking here).

Here are WalletHub’s Top 25 Illinois community colleges, along with their national overall rank, total score, cost and financing rank, education outcome rank and career outcomes rank.
