Alleged Vehicle Thief Jailed After Stealing Woman's Truck in Joliet
He found the ignition key in the vehicle.

JOLIET, IL — A 35-year-old Bolingbrook man is currently in jail after stealing a woman’s truck.
Sergio Arreguin-Baruch, of the 100 block of Jamestown, was in the 800 block of Francis Street early Sunday morning when he got into a woman’s 1997 Ford F-150 and found the ignition key in the vehicle, according to a report from WJOL. The owner of the vehicle allegedly saw the man do this and called police. On the way to scene, police passed the vehicle and then pulled it over. The Bolingbrook man was arrested.
He has been charged with possession of unauthorized certificate of title and possession of a stolen vehicle, according to the Will County Sheriff’s Office.

He is currently being held on 10 percent of a $35,000 bond.
