Black Workers Allege Discrimination At Joliet Amazon Facility: Report
Several Black workers at the Joliet Amazon warehouse filed discrimination charges with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

JOLIET, IL ? Numerous Black employees at the Joliet Amazon warehouse say they are fed up with the racial discrimination they continue to face at work, so they have joined together to file a complaint with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, according to multiple news media outlets in Chicago.
The Law Firm of Tamara N. Holder, LLC. organized a news conference Wednesday in downtown Chicago in front of an Amazon Go location.
According to WBEZ Chicago, the Joliet workers have complained to Amazon management about being called the N-word at work, as well as hearing about nooses and being threatened with death.

One of the Joliet Amazon workers, Tori Davis, told WBEZ that she left her warehouse job on July 13, telling the Chicago news outlets that a lot of Black Amazon employees in Joliet are still in fear.
