Cornerstone Hires New VP Of Development Mindy Diaz
Cornerstone Services has been an advocate for people with disabilities in Joliet and greater Will, Kankakee and southern Cook County areas

JOLIET, IL ? Cornerstone Services announced it has hired Mindy Diaz as the new Vice President/Chief Development Officer. Mindy comes to Cornerstone from North Central College, where she worked as the Director of Academic Success and Support Programs and oversaw academic advising, student disability services, tutoring services and new student onboarding, among many other duties.
She had also served as a Cornerstone board member where she helped set the strategic direction for the agency.

Mindy brings with her a passion for services for people with disabilities. She held the position of Director of Student Disability Services from 2019 to 2021 at North Central College where she coordinated accommodations for undergraduate and graduate students with disabilities, provided training on disability-related topics and many more duties.

?Mindy has over 25 years of experience of disability services in higher education and has prepared, developed, and implemented many grants and other funding opportunities,? Cornerstone CEO Ben Stortz said. ?Mindy?s leadership, program management, grant development, and community engagement will be a tremendous asset to our organization as we develop, enhance, and grow services. I am thrilled for Mindy to join our team and help further our services for many years to come.?

leader in providing the support necessary for individuals with disabilities to live and work in the
