D'Arcy Sells Joliet Volkswagen Dealership to Hawk Auto

Joliet businessman Terry D’Arcy has reportedly sold his Volkswagen dealership.

The deal with Hawk Auto Group was finalized Tuesday, the Herald-News reported. D’Arcy told the paper he sold the VW dealership to focus on Joliet Buick-GMC and Hyundai dealerships.

The Buick-GMC dealership is located at 2022 Essington Rd., while the Hyundai dealership is at 2521 Jefferson St.

The Volkswagen dealership, which used to be paired with the Hyundai dealership, moved to its own Jefferson Street location in 2012.

Hawk Auto Group operates Hawk Ford in Oak Lawn, Hawk Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Forest Park and Hawk Chevrolet in Bridgeview.

D’Arcy said expansions are in the works for both the Buick-GMC and Hyundai dealerships, WJOL reported.
