What makes your dad extra special?
Robert Lee McNear has ALWAYS been my superhero. From the time I was young, I can?t remember when I haven?t looked at my father as if he was everything to me! He not only encouraged but pushed me in ways I could never imagine. I was a teen mom and learned I was pregnant at 17. My father was the first person to know. With his help and support my father hid my pregnancy until I was passed the abortion period. Together we told my mother I was pregnant. My dad ensured I went to every appointment and made it clear I would breastfeed my son.
I NEVER raised my kids alone and have ALWAYS had a village with my dad! He taught me what strength is and introduced me to church, instilling a strong faith foundation and reminding me I?ll never walk alone! Thank you, Daddy, for being an incredible husband, father and grandfather! You mean the world to us!
Why do you feel your dad deserves the spotlight?
At 83 years old, he's battling early Alzheimer?s. He deserves to be reminded he?s never forgotten!
Happy Father?s Day to Robert Lee McNear, and thank you for all you do!
