Domestic Battery, Retail Theft, Felon with Weapon: Joliet Blotter

All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Justyn T. Rivera, 25, of the 1500 block of Clement, was charged with criminal damage to property. The arrest occurred in the 900 block of Grand.

Kahli J. Banks, 24, of the 800 block of Woods, was charged with aggravated domestic battery. The arrest occurred in the 800 block of Woods.

Diamond D. Kennedy, 22, of the 700 block of Francis, was picked up on an out of town warrant and a Will County warrant. The arrest occurred in the 0-100 block of W. Jackson.

Carie A. Utley, 33, of the 400 block of Ward, was picked up on an out of town warrant. The arrest occurred in the 100 block of W. Washington.

Leonardo Vargas, 24, of the 800 block of Campbell, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, reckless driving and obstructing justice. The arrest occurred in the 700 block of Joyce.

Brennin P. Moran, 19, of the 2000 block of Havenhill in Plainfield, was charged with retail theft. The arrest occurred in the 3300 block of Mall Loop.

Roman Medel III, 26, of the 600 block of Jerome, was charged with three counts of unlawful use of a weapon by a felon, possession of a controlled substance, unlawful use of a weapon, possession of stolen property, possession of drug equipment and reckless discharge of a firearm. He was also arrested on a Will County warrant. The arrest occurred in the 1400 block of Pioneer.
