How do you know your graduating student nominee?

My son

Tell us why they deserve to be nominated!

My son spent his entire academic career in public school until attending a private high school. The transition in education and structure was challenging, not to mention his freshman year was during COVID.

He has been a football and track athlete since he could pretty much walk, so he did his best to find an education/athletic balance in a time when there were many constraints. These obstacles taught him to stay humbled and determined to find success in tough situations.

He spent the next 3 years consistently proving to himself and others that he is a successful student athlete. During sophomore year, Adrian placed 10th in state in long jump and 5th in state during his junior year. He also qualified for the 100 meter, 4x100 and 4x200 with his track team during junior year. His senior was spent being runner up champions for class 2A football where he also won most valuable offensive player of the year from the Chicago Catholic League.

For Adrian?s senior track year, he placed 1st in conference for indoor long jump and now holds the facility record for 3 different schools. All of Adrian?s hard work lead him to a scholarship to pay football for Quincy University in the fall.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about your graduating student nominee?

He is tough, determined, and thankful for his God-gifted abilities.

Congratulations on your achievements, and all of our best wishes to you in the future, Adrian!
