Happy Mother's Day To Uriah Walker

Why she is special: My daughter has stepped into motherhood as she embraces being a stepmom. It isn’t easy being a step parent especially when you don’t have any children of your own yet. My daughter is learning how to balance being that motherly figure while making sure she doesn’t make anyone feel like she’s trying to take the mothers place. She loves her step daughter as if she were her own.

Message: Uriah, as always I’m so very proud of you. As I was thinking about this coming Mother’s Day, I thought back on the number of times I’ve pressed you for grandchildren and it hit me like a ton of bricks, and you have given me a beautiful granddaughter. And I’m so proud at how you’ve embraced your new role. It takes a really special person with a beautiful heart to take on what you’ve willingly taken on. As I look forward to a few more grandchildren I just wanted to say Happy Mother’s Day. I celebrate and honor you and the responsibility of part time motherhood. I love you and will forever be your biggest fan. Love Mommy
