He served in the Army from 1966 to 1968 in Vietnam. He was a Spec. 4 when he was honorably discharged. When he came home from Vietnam, the troops were treated horribly. We lost him from Agent Orange in 2016. He had three different cancers. It was awful to see your loved one fight to be able to breathe every minute from lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, and bone cancer. He was diagnosed with cancer on October 11, 2015, and passed on February 29, 2016. He served his country and was treated badly for it.

He was my husband, and we were married for almost 50 years and raised seven beautiful children together. He was a wonderful husband and a great dad. It?s so sad that he was never honored for serving his country.
