Joliet Man Threatened Former DuPage County Judge: Police
He also allegedly threatened the Westmont Police Department.

A 30-year-old Joliet man has been charged with threatening a public official, according to the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office.
Michael A. Kirollos is accused of delivering or conveying a threat to a former DuPage County Judge, “which placed the former judge in reasonable apprehension of bodily harm,” according to the sheriff’s office.
Investigators from the sheriff’s office and from the Westmont Police Department worked together to take Kirollos into custody without incident on Dec. 14. In addition, Kirollos has also been charged with two counts of threatening a public official relating to threats conveyed to the Westmont Police Department.

Kirollos is currently being held in the DuPage County Jail on a total of $500,000 bond; $250,000 for each case.
