Joliet 'Super Senior' Is A Fighter: Star Students

JOLIET, IL ? Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we?re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.

Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?

Camille has persevered through many personal challenges to become a "Super Senior" at Joliet Central High School! She has done a lot of hard work to build strong academic, physical, social, and emotional skills that have resulted in a diploma, a part-time job, a plan for JJC next year in Psychology, a weightlifting award, and a selfless attitude with her friends.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star local student?

Camille is a fighter! She sets and achieves her goals.
