Miranda Sings Is Headed to The Rialto In 2020

The Rialto Square Theatre will continue bringing great shows in 2020. YouTube sensation and Netflix star, Miranda Sings will take the Rialto stage on March 22^nd at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the show are now on sale.

Born Colleen Ballinger, the multi-talented personality first rose to fame in 2008 by creating the character ‘Miranda Sings’ for her YouTube page based on former classmates and other YouTube users. Since that time, the page has garnered more than 10 million subscribers and surpassed 3.5 billion views on YouTube. In 2015, Ballinger even won a Teen Choice Award in the category “Web Star: Comedy.”

Her popular page helped propel her into the limelight. Currently, she can be seen as ‘Miranda’ on the Netflix series, Haters Back Off, which she created and executive produced based on her popular catchphrase. Additionally, her one hour special, Miranda Sings Live…You’re Welcome, can also be found on Netflix. Ballinger has also appeared on other shows including Jerry Seinfeld’s Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, Ralph Breaks the Internet, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Angry Birds 2, and Escape the Night.

In addition to being an actor, comedian, trained vocalist, and executive producer, Ballinger is also a New York Times #1 Bestselling Author with her books Self-Help and My Diarrhe. This year, she also saw a dream come true when she stared as ‘Dawn’ in the Broadway musical, Waitress. She also currently touring the country with her new show, Who Wants My Kid?

Tickets to catch Ballinger are on the Rialto stage in March are $39.50 and $85.00 plus tax and fees. They are available on the online and in person at the Rialto Square Theatre box office located at 102 N. Chicago Street in Joliet.
