Mob Action In Joliet: Man, 20, Roughed Up, Glass Door Shatters On Oneida Street, 3 Arrested

JOLIET, IL ? Three people from Joliet and Crest Hill, all ages 20 and 21, now find themselves facing several criminal charges at Will County's Jail after Joliet police say they engaged in mob action behavior Wednesday night in the 400 block of Oneida Street.
Arianna Redmond, 21, of Joliet, and Kenyen Green, 20, of Crest Hill face mob action, battery and criminal trespass charges, while Samaya Jamison-McCoy, 21, of Joliet is charged with mob action, battery, criminal trespass and felony criminal damage to property.
According to police spokesman Dwayne English, at 9:29 p.m., the officers responded to the 400 block of Oneida Street for a disturbance. Jamison-McCoy, Redmond and Green allegedly entered an apartment without permission and attacked a 19-year-old woman and a 20-year-old man, grabbing and punching them. The three then threatened to shoot up the apartment as they left, English said.

"It is alleged that following the attack, Jamison-McCoy threw a bucket at a glass storm door of the building, shattering the glass," English announced.
The attack victims declined medical assistance.

Joliet police say they later located all three offenders in the 100 block of North Hickory Street. All were processed at the Joliet Police Department and then transferred to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
