No Injuries in Joliet Apartment Fire
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

JOLIET, IL — A fire broke out Monday afternoon in the 700 block of Plainfield Road.
Joliet Deputy Fire Chief Ray Randich told The Herald-News the fire broke out at around 12:05 p.m. Three adults and three young children were able to escape from the two-unit building.
"There was heavy smoke and flame visible from the back of the upstairs unit," Randich told the paper. "One man had gone back inside for an unknown reason."

Firefighters were able to find the man using thermal imaging and was brought back outside by firefighters.
A phone message left with the Joliet Fire Department was not immediately returned.
