“Quarantine Concerts” are Coming to the Rialto Square Theatre
Beginning on April 24, the theatre will host weekly concerts on the Barton Grande Theatre Pipe Organ.

As the shelter-in-place order remains in effect for Illinois, the Rialto Square Theatre is introducing a new way for their loyal patrons to virtually enjoy music from the theatre. The “Quarantine Concerts” series begins on Friday, April 24 from 12:00 p.m. – 12:30 p.m. featuring musical entertainment from the Barton Grande Theatre Pipe Organ.
A variety of organists will be featured during the concert series including JATOE, the Joliet Area Theatre Organ Enthusiasts which was founded in 1971. Music lovers can watch the noontime live stream via the Rialto’s Facebook page.
The live-streamed concerts are free to all, but donations to the 1926 Campaign are welcome at rialtosquare.com/1926-campaign. Like many other establishments, the Rialto has temporarily closed due to COVID-19 and needs support. The 1926 Campaign commemorates the year the Rialto first opened. Donations will help the Rialto continue shining bright in the Joliet community for years to come.
