Road Rage At Busy Joliet Intersection, Teen Threw 2 Water Bottles Out Window: Police
The driver reported that a vehicle behind him had thrown a water bottle at his car.

JOLIET, IL ? The Joliet Police Department announced that a teenage passenger has been arrested in connection with a road rage incident that happened over the weekend.
On Aug. 24, Jovon C. Sneed, 18, of Joliet, was arrested and released on a notice to appear related to charges of resisting and obstructing a police officer and disorderly conduct. Sneed was also issued a citation for littering on the roadway.
According to Joliet police spokesman Tizoc Landeros, at around 2:30 p.m., Joliet officers near Jefferson Street and Larkin Avenue were flagged down by a driver in a nearby vehicle.

The driver reported that a vehicle behind him had thrown a water bottle at his car. Officers then saw Sneed throw a water bottle at the same vehicle, Landeros said.
A traffic stop was conducted on Sneed?s vehicle, while the victim also pulled over in the 300 block of South Larkin Avenue, according to police.

Upon making contact, Sneed initially refused to provide his personal information and would not comply with lawful orders to exit his vehicle, Landeros said. He continued to withhold information about his identity from officers.
The driver of Sneed?s vehicle later informed officers that a near collision with the victim?s vehicle had occurred on Jefferson Street, which had led to the roadway dispute.
Sneed was arrested and transported to the Joliet Police Department booking area, where he was processed and subsequently released.
