Santa Claus Is Coming To Joliet: Where To See Him

JOLIET ? Visits and pictures with Santa Claus are treasured traditions for many Joliet families. For many, there's nothing quite like seeing jolly old St. Nick live and in person.

In and around Joliet, kids have several chances to see Kris Kringle in person:

Underwater Photos with Santa: December 15 at 2 p.m.

Location: Inwood Athletic Club Pool, 3000 West Jefferson Street, Joliet Park District.

• Santa will be in the pool for pictures under or above the water with registered swimmers. Swimmers can use the pool for open swim, make a craft, and enjoy some snacks in our party room during the event. Pictures will be available the day after the event on a shared photo site. Only participants will receive a link to the photos, but all photos taken at the event will be visible to everyone who attended. Registration Deadline is Dec. 12.
• Louis Joliet Mall Photos With Santa, 3340 Mall Loop Drive, Joliet. For more information or to make a reservation, visit the website here. Walk-ups welcome every day until closing time.
• Joliet High School District 204's Winter Wonderland Breakfast with Santa and Mrs. Claus, 8-11:30 a.m. Dec. 9 at Joliet Central Student Center
• Pet Photos with Santa: December 8, 11 a.m. at Pilcher Park Nature Center. Bring your friendly pets to Pilcher Park Nature Center for a picture with Santa Claus. Proceeds will go toward the feeding and care of the Nature Center Animals. Britt from Blackbird Imagery will take pictures and email the digital files.
• Pictures with Santa at Webb Chevy Plainfield, 4-6 p.m. Dec. 13
• Plainfield Park District's Journey to the North Pole from 5-9 p.m. Dec. 13-14
• American Legion Marne Post 13's Breakfast with Santa for kids, 9-11 a.m. Dec. 14
  Rockin' Santa Sing-A-Long Show Dec. 15 at Werk Force Brewing
• Pictures with Santa event from 4-6 p.m. Dec. 5 at Black Dog Vinyl Cafe
• Breakfast with Santa, hosted by Plainfield Park District starting at 9 a.m. Dec. 7
• Santa will also hold court at Santa's Wonderland at Bass Pro Shops in The Promenade in Bolingbrook. The festivities at both places will run through Dec. 24.
