This Saturday, August 17^th, is Cancer Awareness Night as the Joliet Slammers battle Southern Illinois Miners. The special evening will benefit and aid 6-year-old Austin’s family in paying for his medical bills.

Austin is battling osteosarcoma, a rare bone cancer that often occurs in children and young adults. To help his family, the Joliet Slammers are donating half of ticket sales to support Austin’s treatments.
