Telephone Harassment Arrest: Crest Hill Man Jailed By Illinois State Police

CREST HILL ? The Illinois State Police Division of Criminal Investigation Zone 1 issued a press release Friday announcing the arrest of 25-year-old Jacob Baker from Crest Hill on charges of threatening a department of human services provider and also telephone harassment.

On May 21, ISP Special Agents were notified of an alleged threat made to an Illinois Department of Human Services employee. ISP agents conducted a thorough investigation, and on Thursday, ISP special agents took Baker into custody without incident, the press release highlighted.

The Will County State?s Attorney?s charged Baker this week and now he is being held at the Will County Adult Detention Center. No further information is available, the press release noted.

As of 4 p.m. Friday, Baker remained in his Will County Jail cell. He comes from the 2300 block of Crest Hill's Bicentennial Avenue.
