Ten week old Kora Marie Middono dies of her injuries on June 3rd
Baby girl Kora taken too soon.

Kora Marie Middono entered this world seven weeks early on March 27, 2019 and fought every day to get stronger. After spending 38 days in the NICU, she was able to go home to be with her family. Kora was a happy baby who was loved so much by her big brother, Kayden, who enjoyed having a new baby sister to help with.
On Sunday, June 2, 2019, Kora’s mother, Amber Perry, woke up like any other day and went to work leaving Kora in the care of her father. Amber came home and went as any new mother would to check on her newborn. She immediately knew something was wrong, Kora was not her normal happy self. She picked her up to put her to bed; at that very moment Amber knew something was terribly wrong. Her motherly instinct took over and without thinking, put her in her car seat and took her to Morris Hospital. Once testing was done, the decision was made to air lift Kora to Ann and Robert H. Lurie Hospital in Chicago. Due to her unexpected and unforeseen injuries, Kora passed away in the arms of her mother on June 3, 2019. Tragically, her life was taken from those who love her and those who would have loved her.
Because of the events surrounding the loss of this beautiful innocent little girl, the Kora Marie Middono Fund has been established to help Amber cope with the myriad of expenses that have been left in the wake of this senseless tragic loss.
