Theft, Warrants, Armed Criminal: Joliet Blotter

All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Megan M. Funk, 24, of the 400 block of Hackberry in Frankfort, was charged with theft. The arrest occurred in the 2600 block of W. Jefferson.

Ana L. Gonzalez, 18, of the 1100 block of N. Wabash Ave., was charged with retail theft. The arrest occurred in the 2400 block of W. Jefferson.

Leign A. Bowers, 28, of the 300 block of N. First St. in Wilmington, was charged with retail theft. The arrest occurred in the 2500 block of Route 59.

Jose Avila, 31, of the 1600 block of E. Cass Ave., was charged with armed habitual criminal, unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful possession of a firearm and obstructing a police officer. He also had three in-state warrants. The arrest occurred in the 300 block of Pine St.

Jessie Deshawn Neal, 33, of the 300 block of E. Washington, was picked up on a Will County warrant. The arrest occurred in the 100 block of W. Washington.

Carl B. Mowen, 20, of the 16900 block of S. Plainsman Ct. in Plainfield, was picked up on two Will County warrants and a DuPage County warrant. He was also charged with retail theft. The arrest occurred in the 1400 block of Route 59.

Rebecca A. Talley, 36, of the 2900 block of Woodside Drive, was charged with two counts of burglary to a motor vehicle. The arrest occurred in the 200 block of S. William.
