Students are scored on their grades, extracurricular activities, awards and recognitions, and a written essay. The program showcases the students in their school and civic community so that greater attention will be given to their achievements in hopes that future students will strive to meet and exceed those benchmarks.
The scholarship fund is supported by fundraising and contributions from the members of the Joliet community and the Joliet Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
