
Troy CCSD 30C now has an opening on its school board and is asking members of the public who wish to be considered for the position to submit their resume. The board will offer the position to the candidate who best meets the mission and vision of the district.
State law and board policy state that candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Be a resident of the state of Illinois and of the school district for at least one year preceding election or appointment
- Be a United States citizen
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be a registered voter
- Not be a school trustee

Interested qualified candidates should send a resume to Mark Griglione, Troy Community School District 30-C School Board President, c/o Nicole Sutarik, 5800 West Theodore, Door 10, Plainfield, IL 60586. Resumes can also be emailed to Nicole Sutarik at nsutarik@troy30c.org.
The deadline for submission is 3:00 p.m. on June 30, 2021.

After reviewing the submitted resumes, the board will determine next steps in the process. Those candidates moving forward in the process will be notified by Nicole Sutarik with details of the next steps to complete.
The board is looking to install a new member by July 31, 2021.
This chosen candidate will hold the position until the next public election in April 2023. At that time, the new member can choose to either run again to complete the rest of the four-year term or decline to run in the election.
