Victim Hit With Piece Of Wood At Mimis Liquors On Joliet's Cass Street: Police
Patricia Bridges is also accused of kicking the victim twice in the face while she was on the ground, Joliet police said.

JOLIET, IL ? One of Joliet's most arrested women in recent years, 38-year-old Patricia Bridges, is back in the Will County Jail in connection with a vicious attack upon another woman at Mimis Liquors store at 453 Cass Street, the Joliet Police announced.
Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English told Joliet Patch that Bridges now faces three crimes of aggravated battery after being captured earlier this week.
Back on Oct. 17, at 4:48 p.m., Joliet's officers responded to Mimis for a battery complaint. According to police, while one woman stood in the parking lot talking to another person, Bridges approached her and began yelling obscenities at her over issues with a past relationship.

Bridges then allegedly picked up a piece of wood from the ground and struck the woman in the head with it, knocking her to the ground, English said. Bridges is then accused of kicking the victim twice in the face while she was on the ground before fleeing.
This week, Joliet's detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Bridges on the three counts of aggravated battery on October 27.
