Will County Sheriff’s Merit Commission Is Accepting Applications
The deadline to apply for the Deputy Correctional Officer eligiblity list is December 9.
The Will County Sheriff's Merit Commission is currently accepting applications for a list of qualified Deputy Correctional Officers. The deadline to apply is Monday, December 9, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. The starting salary for the Deputy Correctional Officer role is $51,870.67 and includes benefits and uniforms.
To be considered, applicants must attach and mail the $25.00 processing fee via check or money order. The processing fee can also be dropped off at the Wil County Merit Commission's office before the deadline to the office address included on the application.
A maximum of 400 applications will be accepted, and the test will be closed once the limit is reached. A written test will follow and is scheduled for Saturday, December 14, 2019. Applicants will be notified via email with test details once their application is reviewed and accepted.

Following the written text, qualified applicants will move on to the C.A.T. Corrections Agility Test, which is scheduled for 2020 on January 4th, 5th, or 6th. The fee is $45.00, and only the top 200 passing written test scores will continue on to the Corrections Agility Test.
