Will County Women’s Bar Association Elects New Board President
President Charlene Recio brings years of experience to the role.

Last week, members of the Will County Women’s Bar Association (WCWBA) elected Charlene Recio to serve as the President of the 2020 Executive Board.
Recio brings a wealth of knowledge and years of experience to the Board. She currently serves as an Assistant State’s Attorney with the Will County State’s Attorney’s Office in the Narcotics Unit of the felony division. She is also the Vice President of the Illinois Prosecutors Bar Association, in addition to being an active member in the Will County Bar Association. Her work with the WCWBA first began when she joined in 2013. Since that time, she has taken on many roles within the organization including Secretary, Treasurer, and Vice-President of the Executive Board. She holds a bachelor of arts degree from Illinois Wesleyan University and is a graduate of DePaul University College of Law.
“I’m honored to have been elected president of the Will County Women’s Bar Association. It has been so inspiring to be a part of the bar association’s ongoing commitment to the local community and non-profit organizations. I hope to keep that momentum going by continuing to provide both social and philanthropic programming that will further that mission,” said Charlene Recio.
