2 Armed Robberies Reported in Glen Burnie

Police are seeking information on the suspects in two separate armed robberies in recent days.

June 23–At approximately 10 p.m., three men approached a male victim near his car in the area of Hideaway Loop and Hidden Brook Drive, according to a police department press release.

Two of the suspects opened the passenger side door and entered the vehicle, one of them holding a gun. The third suspect stood outside the vehicle and fired a round into the air and then fled.

Police said the two other suspects demanded money and the victim complied, before the suspects fled on foot.

Police said the victim did not report the incident until after 8 a.m. the following morning, but authorities did not explain why the victim waited.

June 25–According to police, shortly after 1 a.m., two men approached a male victim at a parking lot on the 7800 block of Winborne Drive, displayed handguns and took the victim's money, cell phone and a bottle of liquor.

The men attempted to enter the victim's vehicle, but the victim managed to flee on foot.

Arriving officers searched the immediate area, but failed to locate the suspects.
