- Anne Arundel County is holding vaccination clinics at four middle schools, including Marley Middle in Glen Burnie. The sites are being used not only for COVID-19, but also for required school vaccinations like meningitis and TDAP. Marley Middle's site will be open Tuesdays. Children under 15 need to be accompanied by an adult to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. (CBS Baltimore)
- Glen Burnie High School graduate, Drew Forrester '81, qualified for an amateur spot in the U.S. Senior Open in Omaha. The Calvert Hall College High School golf coach tried eight times to qualify, and now is one of 24 amateurs who made the highly competitive cut. (Free: Catholic Review, Subscription: Baltimore Sun)
- A traffic stop in Glen Burnie led to the arrest of a Severna Park man for possession of crack cocaine, Oxycodone and other drugs. Officers stopped a gray Chevrolet sedan for a registration violation Sunday morning near near Tall Pines Court and Elvaton Road. (Read more on Patch)
- A Baltimore police officer was arrested by Anne Arundel County police after his 15-year-old stepson was found unresponsive in the family's Curtis Bay home. Eric Glen Banks Jr. has been charged with first- and second-degree assault for being combative with officers, but has not been charged in the teenager's death. (WTOP News)
