2 Brooklyn Park Teens Face Assault, Robbery Charges
Police also reported two armed robberies in Glen Burnie.

Brooklyn Park: Assault arrests
Anne Arundel County police arrested two Brooklyn Park teens Friday afternoon on assault charges.
Anthony Robert Carbone, 18, of the 5000 block of Brookwood Road and a 17-year-old boy were charged with second-degree assault, robbery and theft under $100.

According to a police press release, officers responded to the area of 11th Avenue and Ritchie Highway in Brooklyn Park shortly after 4 p.m. Friday for a reported fight.
Officers found a group of teens in a grassy area nearby and spoke with a victim, a 19-year-old boy, who said he got into a fight with Carbone and the 17-year-old suspect. The victim told police he was arguing with the teens when it escalated to a physical altercation during which he was assaulted.

Police said that during the course of the assault, the teens stole cigarettes from the victim.
Glen Burnie: Armed Robbery
A man robbed a Glen Burnie Denny's restaurant at knife point early Monday morning, police said.
According to an Anne Arundel County police report, officers responded to the Denny's located in the 6300 block of Ritchie Highway at about 4 a.m. Monday for a reported armed robbery.
Officers spoke with restaurant employees who said a man entered the restaurant, pulled a knife and demanded money. The employees complied and gave the man an undisclosed amount of cash.
Officers, a K-9 unit and an aviation unit searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.
Glen Burnie: Armed robbery
A male suspect robbed a 17-year-old boy in Glen Burnie on Sunday night, police said.
Officers responded to the 600 block of Hallmark Drive at about 10:40 p.m. Sunday for a reported robbery, according to a police press release.
Police spoke with the victim who said he was standing outside an apartment building on Hallmark Drive smoking a cigarette when a man approached him, pointed and handgun at him and demanded money.
The victim complied and gave an undisclosed amount of cash to the man, who ran from the area.
Officers, a K-9 unit and the aviation unit searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect, police said.
