Police questioned several people, when they say Styles allegedly became combative and officers had to use a Taser on him. Police said they determined that Styles was the suspect involved in the reported stabbing.
Other officers located Styles's girlfriend, a 37-year-old woman who had been stabbed several times in the torso, and her 18-year-old son who also had been stabbed in the torso, police said.
Medics took the woman to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore and her son to (BWMC), where they both were treated and released.
An investigation determined that Styles and his girlfriend were arguing inside her apartment shortly before 10 p.m. when the argument became violent. Police allege that Styles picked up a kitchen knife and stabbed his girlfriend and her son.
Police said Hall is friends with the 18-year-old victim and fired a weapon into the air while outside the apartment for unknown reasons. Police said they recovered both the knife and the gun from the scene.
Styles was taken to Baltimore Washington Medical Center after being subdued by the Taser, which police said is standard procedure.Â
According to The Capital, Styles was being held, with his bail set at $4 million. Hall posted $50,000 bond and was released from custody, The Capital reported.
Brooklyn Park: Stabbing, armed robbery
A man allegedly stabbed a 17-year-old boy with a box cutter in Brooklyn Park during a robbery, police said.
According to a police press release, officers responded to the area of 6th and Cross streets in Brooklyn Park at about 4 p.m. Sunday for a reported stabbing.
Officers located the 17-year-old boy who was suffering from multiple cuts to his upper body. The boy told police he was walking down 6th Street when he heard a vehicle stop behind him.
The boy said a man got out of the vehicle—believed to be a green vehicle, possibly a Buick sedan—and stole a pack of cigarettes and a knife from his pockets. The man then tried to take the boy's cell phone, but when the boy resisted, he said the man pulled out a box cutter and cut him.
The suspect fled in the green vehicle, which was driven by another male suspect, toward the Brooklyn Homes area of Baltimore. Anne Arundel County police said they searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspect.
Medics transported the boy to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore with possible life-threatening injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
