3 Teens Attempt to Rob Woman in Glen Burnie

Three youths believed to be teenagers allegedly attempted to rob a woman in Glen Burnie after she parked her car early Wednesday morning.

According to police, officers responded to the 8000 block of Greenleaf Terrace in Glen Burnie for a reported attempted robbery.

The victim, a 29-year-old woman, told police three teenage boys approached her after she got out of her car in the parking lot. She said one of the teens demanded money as a second one grabbed her from behind.

The woman told police she resisted and the three teens fled from the scene toward Crain Highway. They did not take anything from the woman, who sustained minor injuries but refused to be treated, police said.

Officers and a K-9 unit searched the area but were unable to locate the attackers.
