3 Teens Reportedly Steal 9-Year-Old's Bicycle

In a separate incident, medics transported a 40-year-old man to the hospital after an accident Thursday night.

 

Brooklyn Park: Robbery

Three teenage boys reportedly stole a bicycle from a 9-year-old boy in Brooklyn Park on Thursday afternoon, police said.

Anne Arundel County police responded to the 200 block of 11th Ave. East in Brooklyn Park for a reported robbery, according to a police press release.

Officers spoke with a 9-year-old victim who said he and his friend were riding their bicycles in that area when three teenage boys they didn't know approached them.

Police said the teens pushed the 9-year-old and his friend off their bicycles, assaulted them and stole one of the bikes.

The teens were last seen heading east on Townsend Avenue toward Baltimore.

Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the teens. The victims were not injured during the incident, police said.

Glen Burnie: Accident

A man suffered serious injuries after an accident Thursday night on Crain Highway in Glen Burnie, according to fire officials.

The Anne Arundel County Fire Department responded at 11:15 p.m. Thursday to a report of a crash in the 1600 block of Crain Highway South in Glen Burnie, spokesman Lt. Cliff Kooser said.

Kooser said they transported a man believed to be about 40 years old to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore with injuries that were serious but not considered life threatening.
