Argument Between Neighbors Escalates, Gun Drawn: Police
One neighbor brought out his gun during an argument with another neighbor about a parking spot in Glen Burnie.
GLEN BURNIE, MD — One of two neighbors embroiled in an argument over a parking spot faces charges in the incident. Saturday at approximately 7 p.m., Anne Arundel County police officers responded to a call about an armed subject in the 1000 block of Londonderry Drive. Officers learned that during the neighbors' dispute, one neighbor went into his house and brought out a box that he placed on the trunk of his car. From that box he withdrew a loaded 9 mm semi-automatic handgun.
The neighbor placed the gun on the truck of the car and stated, "You want some of this?"
According to a police report, the neighbor didn't point the weapon at anyone, but others involved in the argument felt threatened by his actions. The gun was recovered and Larry Ulisses Portillo Quinonez, 24, of Glen Burnie, was arrested and faces charges in the incident.
