Salisbury Man Arrested on Drug Charges

Michael Lee Neuerburg, 33, was arrested in Glen Burnie as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation, police said.

Anne Arundel County police arrested a Salisbury man Monday afternoon on several charges after police said he had more than $16,000 worth of drugs on him and in his vehicle.

Michael Lee Neuerburg, 33, of the 5600 block of Spinnaker Dr., was charged with two counts of distribution of cocaine, four counts of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, four counts of possession of cocaine, possession with intent to distribute ecstasy and marijuana and possession of ecstasy and marijuana.

Police located and arrested Neuerburg in the 1600 block of Crain Highway in Glen Burnie as part of an ongoing investigation, according to a police press release.

Police said they found suspected crack cocaine, suspected powder cocaine and $1,022 in cash on Neuerburg. After searching his vehicle, police said they found a plastic bag containing suspected marijuana and a plastic bag containing suspected ecstasy pills.

Police said that through the investigation, detectives confiscated a total of 141 grams of suspected cocaine, 8.1 grams of suspected crack cocaine, 63 grams of suspected marijuana and 10 suspected ecstasy pills worth an estimated street value of $16,480. Police also seized Neuerburg's vehicle.
