Bank Robbery Suspect At Large, Police Seek Public's Help

GLEN BURNIE, MD — The Anne Arundel County Police Department asks for the public's help in tracking down the suspect who held up the Wells Fargo bank located at 7700 Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie. A man with a beard and twisted hair approximately 30 to 40 years old entered the bank Wednesday shortly before 5 p.m. and passed a note to the teller announcing a robbery.

The teller handed the suspect an undetermined amount of U.S. currency, according to the police department. The suspect then took off toward Aquahart Road. No weapons were displayed during this incident and no injuries were reported, according to a police report.
