Board Educator of the Month: Don Foderaro
The North County High School health teacher was named the Anne Arundel County Public Schools' educator of the month for January.
Anne Arundel County Public Schools named Don Foderaro the Educator of the Month for January at its most recent Board of Education meeting.
The health teacher was recognized for his work as a football and wrestling coach as well as his work with anti-bullying, according to North County's website.
"The school's Anti-Bullying Committee, aptly named 'Don't Hate Collaborate' was started by Coach Foderaro. The committee holds monthly meetings on ways to raise awareness on anti-bullying. He makes public service announcements at athletic events, drama and dance performances and various after school events," according to the website.
