Boy, 3, Drowns in Brooklyn Park Wednesday Night
The boy, 3, was pronounced dead at Harbor Hospital, police said.

UPDATE (9:55 a.m.)—A 3-year-old boy drowned in a pool Wednesday night while attending a family function in Brooklyn Park, police said.
Anne Arundel County police responded to the 600 block of Old Riverside Road at about 9:45 p.m. and spoke with witnesses who said the boy and his family were attending a function when they realized he was missing toward the end of the night, according to a police press release.
The father found the boy at the bottom of the pool. Anne Arundel County medics transported the boy to Harbor Hospital by ambulance in serious and life-threatening condition.

The boy was pronounced dead by a physician at Harbor Hospital at about 10:25 p.m.
The incident remains under investigation.
