Brothers Arrested on Drug Charges in Odenton
Brothers, one from Glen Burnie and one from Brooklyn Park, were arrested on drug charges Tuesday afternoon.
Police arrested brothers, one from Glen Burnie and one from Brooklyn Park, on Tuesday in Odenton and charged them with intent to distribute marijuana.
Roger Douglas Latham, 29, of Glen Burnie and William Keith Latham, 39, Brooklyn Park also were charged with possession of marijuana.
According to a police press release, an officer saw a man walking around a construction site in the area of Waugh Chapel Road and Seneca Drive in Odenton at about 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The site was closed due to rain.

The officer also saw a silver Chevrolet Cavalier parked next to the construction equipment. The officer approached the man who said he worked at the site and was checking on the equipment.
Police said the man gave the officer permission to search the Cavalier and saw a second man seated in the passenger seat. When the officer searched the car he found two plastic bags inside—one containing a large clump of suspected marijuana and one containing eight smaller plastic bags containing suspected marijuana. Police said the marijuana appeared to be packaged for distribution.

The officer also found $4,320 in cash and seized it from one of the men and placed both men under arrest. It later was determined that the man did not work for the company.
